About Wharncliffe Scout Network Unit
Wharncliffe Network is based within the North Sheffield area, and is open to anyone between the ages of 18 and 25 (explorers can attend from the age of 17 and a half). Network is the final youth section of scouting, and aims to create fun, social and adventurous activities for its members.
Network operates differently to other sections in scouting, in that the members choose the programme, and how they want the unit to run. Therefore our programme varies from scouting skills to fun activities from pole dancing to Zumba. We meet twice a month on days when the majority of members can attend. Generally we meet in the north Sheffield area, except for activities such as camps, climbing or walking where we'll meet at the climbing wall or at the crags. Our latest programme can be found by clicking here.
Take your time to navigate through our website to see what we get up to. If you have any questions click here to contact us. Or if you want more information about joining click here.
