Wharncliffe Network is based within the North Sheffield area, and is open to anyone between the ages of 18 and 25. Take your time to navigate through our website to see what we get up to. If you have any questions click here to contact us. Or if you want more information about joining click here.

The unit has a balanced and active programme and many of our members are working with on the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme or to their Queen Scouts award.

We meet twice a month on the 3rd day and the 3rd Sunday of each month so usually everyone can attend at least 1 meeting per month. Generally we meet in the north Sheffield area, except for activities such as camps, climbing or walking where we'll meet at the climbing wall or at the crags. Xmas Walk and Social

The Christmas social this year took a different stance from the usual meal. A group of us went for a walk in the Peak District followed by a pub meal. Photo’s from the event can be found in the websites Gallery.

Yorkshire Rose Challenge is Launched!

For a number of years it’s been talked about. But now it’s actually happening. That’s right, Wharncliffe Network have launched the Yorkshire Rose Challenge event, wth the first event in June 2012. The new challenge packed event for Scouts of South Yorkshire is set to adventure in to the County.

We invest our first Malaysian Scout!

Wharncliffe Network tonight invested our first ever Malaysian Scout…well done Ahmad Afiq!! Welcome to the unit, we all hope you enjoy Scouting within the UK

Apex Success!

Well done to our unit’s team ‘The Wantley Dragons’ in the 2011 Apex Extreme event, which took part this year in Otley. The team competed against 6 other Network teams over the 3 day challenge. It would appear a good time was had by the team (pictured to the right). Well done!
