FAQ's

Am I the right age?

You can join Network if your between the ages of 18-25. If your currently in Explorers then you are entitled to start attending our meetings at the age of 17 and a half.

I've never been in Scouting before?

That's not a problem, a lot of our members entered scouting directly in to Network.

What will it cost me?

Our subs are very low and we aim to keep these as low as possible, but we have 2 payment options in place. You choose which payment method works best for you. You can pay £10.00 per quarter OR £3.00 per meeting you attend. If don't have a warrent with another section and therefore you haven't had your capitation paid then you will be required to pay it which is roughly £30.00 (Please note this changes each year).

What if I can't make every meeting?

Many of our members are away at university, that's fine. We have a subs structure that caters for members who aren't here during term time, and attend meetings when they can make it. It's not essential to attend every meeting.

But I don't live in north Sheffield?

We have a number of members who live else where in South Yorkshire, and a large number of members who live in Sheffield center. We try to arrange our meetings so it's easy for everyone to attend, and many members commute together or car share.
